Started at home, cooking for friends. Now a supper club around the world.

Big Belly is the traveling supper club I founded and run. It grew out of dinners in Cairo, launched officially in Riyadh, and now pops up wherever there's a table and people hungry enough to sit at it.

Fermentation

It began with Egyptian produce in my home kitchen, fermented into the things we usually import. Now I'd happily choose ours over the global version.

Local hands

I cook with small farmers, producers and fishmongers who are trying to do things better, and bring them into the story of every dinner.

Less waste

Sustainability is how we see our food: seasonal, preserved, and used all the way through.
